  18. I have been using a 28.8 modem with an 68000 Amiga 500 (with 3 MB ram)
  19. with no problems at all, it was not unusual to get a cps higher than 3000.
  20. Of course multitasking was a no-no, the cps would drop even if you moved
  21. the mouse :-)
